The urgency of climate change requires a rapid transformation of transport and logistics management processes. 



Freight transport is responsible for 9% of greenhouse gas emissions in France, i.e., 40 million tonnes CO₂ per year.
In 2019, 362 billion tonnes/km of goods were transported in France, according to the following breakdown :

Objectives of the National Low Carbon Strategy in the Transport and Logistics sector :

28%* reduction in CO₂ by 2030*on 2019 base

Reduction of the environmental impact of freight transport requires digital support to develop rail and river freight.

AI Cargo Foundation was created in 2020 by the Transport & Logistics group of HUB France IA, which drives and federates French initiatives in Artificial Intelligence.

BPI funding of €3.5m as part of the «Programme d’Investissements d’Avenir» AIforHumanity.

EC funding of €7m as part of tendering from the DGEC/ADEME towards logistical modal shift.

Winner of the “PROPULSE” competition by the Innovation Agency for Transports of the Ministry of Green Transition.
