AI Cargo Foundation is a state-funded, non-profit association regulated by the Law of 1901 (France) and stems from HUB France IA.
Its aim is to improve transport chains and adopt new methods to support ecological transition using artificial intelligence.
To achieve this, AI Cargo Foundation provides support and offers practical solutions by way of a data exchange platform and the development of apps. Its legal framework guarantees neutrality and confidentiality.

The urgency of climate change requires a rapid transformation of transport and logistics management processes.
Freight transport is responsible for 9% of greenhouse gas emissions in France, i.e., 40 million tonnes CO₂ per year.
In 2019, 362 billion tonnes/km of goods were transported in France, according to the following breakdown :
